Originally from the county of Suffolk on the east coast of England.
I had a love of all forms of art from an early age at secondary school and always enjoyed drawing and painting to record subjects I found of interest. My main forms of inspiration are primarily ships and maritime, (due to my working life at sea), which are a major influence in my work. I am also drawn to capturing interesting faces , old and neglected buildings, wildlife and nature.
I am an active member of three local art groups and have exhibited and sold some of my artwork at local craft fairs and art exhibitions.
I am a member of the Society of All Artists (SAA). In 2018 I was fortunate to have had some of my artwork selected and featured at the annual open exhibition at Patchings Art Centre in Nottingham.
From originally focusing on Watercolour, I am now doing more mixed media work and experimenting with semi abstract pieces.
